These codes weren't showing up on my vehicle. Did research into the issue with other BMW owners which had the vehicles serviced for replacements of vanos, mass air flow sensors, etc. Went back to dealer and stated they didn't find any further issues. Next day, continued to have the same problem. Was told that it was the eccentric shaft sensor/gaskets, battery tested low to include vvt sensors and left pad brake sensor due to wire cut.

Took vehicle in to dealership to diagnose issue, oil change. Engine cold start hesitation with vibrations while idling stationary. I am away from my car as I am back at college though, so won't have any chance to follow up for a while.2011 328i with 53,500 miles. The idle seems to have gone back to normal as well, but it also may take time for the engine to relearn the new, new airflow pattern lol. I installed the stock box with a drop in K&N and the car seems to be back to normal. Update on how it goes, I have the BMS intake and I can hear the idle being up steady, even though the tac doesn't show it. I ended up selling it and grabbing an K/N drop in for the stock box Yeah it give me two CELs and two rough starts within a week of having it on. I have the Dinan intake, so not as much changes with the air flow path as on other intakes, if that's what's causing the issue. What I get is far more rare, sounds like your issue is a bit more frequent and more severe. Going to see if the car adjusts to tune/bolt ons in 100 miles.

This was not the first time I had driven today either.

Update, just went out to start the car and it was NOT happy during the cold start. Curious as to what one of the tuning vendors or someone who's done it has to say, I'd assume with my mods that the MAF is a bit more pointless. It seems to be more frequent here in AZ than it was in OR, but I've been debating unplugging it as well. I get something similar to this too with the Dinan intake, have for quite some time. It doesn't bother me too much, but if it persists I might just go back to stock airbox with a drop in filter as I believe the airflow is about the same. Have been wondering if the car is just getting adjusted and this will go away in 100 miles or so, or if it is permanent. I've been having the issue where once I get to a stoplight, the car starts to idle up and down(not on the tac but you can clearly hear it) for about a minute and then it settles back to normal.
